Located in the premier wine-growing centre of Central Otago, the Gibbston Valley Restaurant offers a year-round selection of the best local produce, sourced fresh from local artisan suppliers, farmers and growers. Dine al fresco in our sun-drenched courtyard during our long, sunny summer season, or enjoy the warm ambiance inside during winter. With our diverse menu you can drop in for a coffee and freshly baked muffin, enjoy a light meal or take the time out for a sumptuous three-course meal.

In any season, the ample portions of inspired cuisine with suggested wine matches, and superb service and setting combine to give you a perfect New Zealand wine and food experience.

For a lighter lunch or snack, you can try a wide range of locally produced cheeses at the Gibbston Valley Cheesery, adjacent to the courtyard. For the complete taste combination, the Cheesery also offers a range of Gibbston Valley wines to savour with your cheese selection.

For a very special winery experience, a private lunch with our winemaker is the ideal way to enjoy the perfect match of wine, food and great company.

The vineyard restaurant is open for lunch from 12 noon to 3pm, daily and availability by request for private functions.
