At the cellar door and wine bar you are welcome to taste some of the finest wines in the region, with expert staff to take you through the finer points of tasting wine – from current releases to selected vintages. In winter, a very warm welcome awaits, with a roaring open fire at the heart of a comfortable lounge – the perfect place to enjoy a selection of full-bodied reds after a day on the mountain. In summer there’s no better place to enjoy a bottle of your favourite Gibbston Valley wine than our sunny courtyard. At the cellar door you can purchase a fantastic range of our wines – and join our Wine Club to receive member discounts and other benefits, including free shipping throughout New Zealand. Available at the Cellar Door: Wine and Chocolate tasting – 5 of our current vintage wines have been matched with the gorgeous, locally made, Patagonia chocolates, a delightful way to spend a summers evening. $20 per person. Current Release Wines – choose any 3 of our current releases to try for $5, enjoy with one of our famous platters. Purely Pinot – Pinot Noir is what Central Otago and Gibbston Valley winery is well known for, try 4 of our current release pinot noirs for $12 per person. Single vineyard – Try 3 of our stunning Single Vineyard wines, our winemakers hand pick the grapes from a single vineyard and create our exclusive and award winning range, which are a limited release and only available at the Cellar Door – $7.50 per person. |
